Examination Text | Thomas Killug aged about 70 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. James within the liberty of Westminster upon his oath saith that he is a Cordwainer by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to John Moss a Cordwainer in that part of Denmark Court which is in the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden and there served about three years and three quarters, and then his said Master removed into Off Alley York Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and this Examinant along with him and there served the remainder of his time out which expired about 45 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
