Examination TextMartha Berryman aged about 27 years lodging in the Gallery in the Naggs Head Inn Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Captain a Taylor in St Martin's Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 13 months at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about two years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 10th day of October 1758 before Benjamin Cox.
