That ye Settlement of ye sd pauper Charlotte Jones< no role > is [..]
the Appellants Parish, That about 5 Years ago Pauper was bound
Apprentice by mdre out of Clerkenwell to a Mr. Howard. a Rope Maker of the
said Parish for the Term of 9 Years or thereabouts to the best of Examinants
recollection and belief, That she lived with said Howard under that Indre
for the Space of 4 Years or thereabouts when the said Indces were Can called
and Paper discharged. That sd. Pauper hat never [..] nuce quitting the said Service
aono any other Act to gauia Settlement elsewhere.

In the Order of Removal the Parish of Bethnal Green in Stated to be in the
City of London instead of the County of Middlesex and it is presumed the
Appeal is grounded on that Mistake

We now understand that the Pauper with the Consent of Howard her
Marser lived more than 40 days in the Parish of Cerkenwell previous to the
mdre being cancelled and if so the Appeal must be allowed.
