Examination TextMary Partridge aged about 40 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Andrew Holborn above the Bars in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Richard Partridge to whom she was married at the Fleet about 22 years ago, that her said husband is a Baker by trade but now is a Marshall's Court Officer, that her said husband for several years past has lived in and rented, and yet lives in and rents, an house in that part of Chandois Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields at the yearly rent of 18 pounds besides taxes. Taken in the workhouse the fifth day of April 1759.
