Examination Text | Charles Fenn aged 22 years at upwards destitute of lodging upon his oath saith that he never was bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that his Father John Fenn is a Shoemaker by trade and lived in and rented a house in that part of Newport Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years at the yearly rent of 23 pounds besides taxes, that his Father hath not kept house rented tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since he quitted the said house in Newport Street to this Examinant's knowledge.
