| Examination Text | Sarah Eaton aged 49 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Anne within the liberty of Westminster upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Jaffray Glover near Durham Yard in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and seven months at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about five years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 14th Day of October 1765 before Thomas Kynaston. |
