Examination Text | Mary Whitehouse aged 35 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Reynolds who lodged at Mr Smart's in St Martin Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same between six and seven years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 20th Day of October 1758 before Benjamin Cox. |
