Examination TextMary Morgan aged 63 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Edmund Morgan (gone to sea) to whom she was married at Bloomsbury Church about 25 years ago, that he is a Carpenter by trade and lived in and rented an house in Dirty Lane in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of eight years at the yearly rent of 16 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same three years ago, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since, that she hath one child living by her said husband to wit Elizabeth aged about 12 years now at Mr Deacon's a Glass Polisher in King Street Westminster. Sworn the first Day of February 1757 before Benjamin Cox.
