| Examination Text | Ann Thompson aged 55 years and upwards destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Allen in Spring Gardens in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years and three months at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 12 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 21st Day of October 1767 before Peter plank. |
